A DSAR is an official request that an individual (the Data Subject) can make under data protection legislation.
The request can be made based upon a number of rights that are included in the legislation. There are strict rules with regards to the handling and management of such requests that organisations are obliged to comply with. Failure to do so can often lead to an official compliant to the Information Commissioner.
This course provides an overview of the legislation in terms of the rights of individuals, the handling of requests and the circumstances by which requests can be extended or declined.
The course duration is one day and can be done online or in a classroom.
The courses consists of instructor led tuition either online or classroom based.
It consists of 5 modules that are covered over the one day training period.
